How high do tandem skydives go?
Jump altitudes as drop zones publish them.
Our take written by Freefall Fanatics
40 drop zones print a tandem jump altitude we could quote, and the statements run from 7,500 feet to 18,000 feet. Some give a single altitude, some a range, and some several options, so each statement is shown as the drop zone wrote it.
USPA's figure for tandem freefall is 30-60 seconds, quoted at the foot of the page. A few drop zones state their altitude in feet above sea level (MSL) and others above the ground, which their own wording shows.
